Meditation is a great way to relax. I can certainly try to help. What in particular would you like to know? Are you struggling with something? Do you have any questions?

I am fairly new to meditation myself but I recent read a few articles that really helped me and may be able to give you some advice. The main thing that you have to remember is meditation is to focus and quiet your mind, eventually reaching a higher level of awareness and inner calm. You can meditate anywhere and at any time, allowing yourself to access a sense of tranquility and peace no matter what's going on around you. Hopefully that gives you a start.
I agree! I cannot believe the power that it has given me. Good luck.

A lot of people throw the word meditation around without really knowing what it means. It's hard to do, especially in the world we live in with so many distractions and our own short attention spans. Meditation means resting the mind and achieving a state of consciousness that is very different from a normal waking state. It is not a part of any religion or science. It follows a particular order that has definite principles and produces results. When you meditate your mind is clear, relaxed, and inwardly focused. You are awake and alert, but your mind is not focused on the outside world or on any events taking place around you. Meditation requires the mind to become silent. When the mind is silent and no longer distracts you, meditation deepens.
